It took me nearly 20 years to do but I finally was able to beat Zelda II without using any continues! There were a few spots where I came close to blowing it but managed to hold on and grab a couple of 1ups to win!

DL leaves right before we make it in the safe room, and we were lucky enough to fight the horde off enough that his bot ended up closing the door.
