There is a certain amount of time that has to pass before he will charge or grab a boulder. Most of this fight is just running in circles and positioning him in the best spot so I can make him grab a boulder. I got a little greedy at the end and almost died twice. 3 knife slashes after a charge is very risky. I got lucky to get away with it 2 times.
