Save at the statue in the outdoor area. Start BiT. BiTWW using the lower (or upper) academy bird statue. Go to the Dark Lizalfos and whip him so that he get stunned, attack him one, spin attack and then do a finishing blow. Trying to defeat him normally will cause him to reset and block all your attacks because you haven't triggered the battle against him yet (it starts with a cutscene normally). Then enter the door.

Some people requested a video for this trick, so here it is. 3 days ago I mentioned in the zelda IRC and on the forums how it was possible to skip the beetle using this BiTWW trick. Turned out that it wasn't possible since you can't equip the hook beetle without it. Even though have to get the beetle, this BiTWW saves a lot of time. And yes, I know that I played horrible in the boss key room, but this isn't a speedrun after all.

So, yeah, when I uploaded the first video of this trick, I said that it may be possible to place a bomb and hit the timestone without hitting yourself. At first this was very hard, and I couldn't manage to get it, then I figured that it was possible to stand on the corner on the opposite side. This made it very easy to hit the stone without hitting yourself.

Okay, so this is our 7th method. This one is actually quite simple, and it does not require any items or enemies. First you walk into the corner and align yourself similar to how I align myself. While you're Z-Targeting, start to mash A as fast as you can. Now hold left so that link peforms a sidehop, as soon as link start to sidehop, hold down so that he'll perform a backflip right after the sidehop.

A new method I found. This method uses a glitch technique called "Highflip", found by Kazooie. He gets all the credits for the technique, I just found a location where it is useful. This is the first use we've found for the flip so far.
